Homework Assigned on Friday, October 8

9th Grade: 1. Your MEDC/LEDC assignment TOPIC is due, written, on Monday. You are to compare & contrast one MEDC with one LEDC. 2. Your actual assignment will be due on Wednesday.

The rules:
1. Each entire presentation shall be no more than 15 minutes total with set-up & break-down.
2. Your powerpoint shall be no more than 5 minutes.
3. Your questions & answer time shall be no more than 5 minutes.
4. Each team shall provide the class & instructor with notes on the key points of your presentation, with room for them to add their own notes.

Homework Assigned on Monday, October 4

Grade 8: Write a haiku on any topic. Note: A haiku has 3 lines & 17 syllables. The lines are 5, 7, and 5 syllables. Due Tuesday.

Grade 9: 1. Review Geog pages 171-177 for a quiz on Tuesday. 2. Answer questions 1, 3, 4, 5 in your notebooks for Tuesday. 3. Select a LEDC or a MEDC for a research topic. Select two possible partners. Instructor approval topic and partner required.

Grade 7: For Wednesday, look up King Arthur and Arthur, the Dux Bellorum of Roman Britain, and be able to discuss the legend as opposed to what is known about the real "War Duke."
