6th Grade: Homework: Keep a "Haiti Earthquake Disaster" Diary. Add 2 things that happened in Haiti per day. Minimum 2 sentences each entry, with a minimum of 4 days of entries commencing Thursday - total of 8 events. You must state your sources for each day's entries. DUE MONDAY.
8th Grade: Keep a "Haiti Earthquake Event Diary." You should have a minimum of two entries per day. State your sources, which should be from TV, radio, & newspapers. Each separate entry should be a minimum of 4 sentences long. DUE MONDAY.
9th Grade: 1) Keep a "Haiti Earthquake Event" Diary. Add a minimum of two entries per day & state your source. Sources must be the news - radio or TV and newspapers. Sources must vary each day. You may discuss anything related to the Haiti Earthquake. Each entry is to be a minimum of 4-5 complete sentences long. Due Tuesday. 2) Read "Shake Rattle & Roll" Earthquake Disaster Booklet. Be prepared for a quiz on Tuesday. 3) Reports continue.
10th Grade: Keep a "Haiti Earthquake Event" diary or daily log. Add a minimumn of 3 entries per day & state your sources (use more than 1 source each day). Sources must be radio, TV, & newspapers. Your topic may be anything related to the Haiti Earthquake(s). Each entry to be a minimum of 4-5 complete sentences. Due Monday.
